FJORDAL System aluminum construction without horizontal glazing elements. Filling anchored directly in the column axis using clamping strips or wedges. No screws, bolts or visible connectors in the field of utility exposure. Dedicated for installation on balconies, stairs and radii.

On request we provide:

    • 2D/3D models (DWG)

    • Technical specifications

    • data for BIM environment

    • detailed assembly drawings

A solution with glass and balusters mounted directly on the post axis – no lower rails, no visible joints, no compromises.

Morad FJORDAL is a new type of balustrade system in which glass or vertical elements are mounted directly inside the post profile, without the need to use classic horizontal rails. Thanks to this design, the number of visible elements has been reduced, assembly has been accelerated and aesthetics have been improved - especially on stair and curved sections. This solution ensures better water drainage, cleaner architectural detail and full compliance with static requirements for load zones up to 1,0 kN/m. The system is available in a version with glass or baluster filling, with an optional masking blend in the structural axis.

Design and technology:

  • System type: post balustrade with glass or baluster mounting in the post axis
  • Fixing the filling: directly in the post – no need to use lower and upper guide profiles
  • materials: extruded aluminum (EN AW-6060 T6), powder coated or anodized
  • filling: laminated and tempered glass (VSG ESG) or vertical aluminum balusters
  • Glass mounting: system wedges or clamping strips in the post
  • Side blending: optional aluminum sheet mounted in the column axis - identically to glass

Key technical advantages:

  1. Reducing the number of profiles
The absence of a horizontal bottom rail simplifies construction, reduces material consumption and reduces assembly time.

  2. Efficient water drainage
The open lower zone allows rainwater to flow freely – reducing dirt on the lower part of the glass.

  3. Installation flexibility
Fewer elements enable easier installation on stairs and radii (arches, curves).

  4. Architectural purity of detail
All connections are hidden – no visible screws, bolts or rivets. This is a system designed for high aesthetic requirements.

Aesthetics and finish:

  • Color: powder coating according to RAL / technical or decorative anodizing (stainless steel, bronze)

  • Available post variants: rectangular, rounded, as per design

  • Handrail: possible to integrate or resign – depending on the needs of the facility and regulations

Destiny:

  • Residential buildings – loggias, mezzanines, balconies
  • Public utility buildings – staircases, galleries, auditoriums
  • Commercial facilities – office buildings, hotels, premium apartment buildings
  • Infrastructure – elevated walkways, viewing terraces
