AB-S System is a self-supporting all-glass balustrade designed with modern architecture in mind. Ideal for indoor and outdoor applications – from balconies and terraces, through staircases, to mezzanines in commercial buildings. It is distinguished by its minimalist design, high durability and simple assembly without the need for welding.
Design and technology:
System type: self-supporting postless balustrade, designed for linear operation
Usable load capacity: up to 1,0 kN/m (according to PN-EN 1991-1-1)
Panel installation: wedge system in the base profile or alternatively - rotary mounting through the lower edge of the glass
filling: laminated and tempered glass VSG ESG – min. 88.4 (17,5 mm) or 1010.4 (21,5 mm)
Base profile: extruded aluminium EN AW-6060 T66, in 6 m sections (or cut to order)
Profile mounting: to the balcony slab or ceiling, depending on the chosen anchoring variant
Compatibility: possible installation in facade systems or concrete ceiling endings
Finish and aesthetics:
- Profile surfaces: powder coating according to Qualicoat (RAL palette), anodizing (natural, stainless steel, bronze) or technical anodes
- Front and top covers: aluminum or stainless steel; optionally anodized, painted or raw
- Handrail (optional): oval, round or flat profile – surface mounted or recessed
- Glass edge finishing: standard - grinding and polishing; optional with top protection
