SYSTEM PROPERTIES

According to EN 12101 part 2, the NRWG system consists of:

Windows made of typical elements (profiles, seals, fittings.
Fillings (e.g. glass or panels)
A drive unit made of typical elements (actuator, consoles, fittings).

The NRWG smoke removal device is used in Poland in accordance with the standard PN EN 12101 part 2when, according to construction law, gravity smoke removal is required in the building. The purpose of smoke removal in the event of a fire is to create a smoke-free air layer near the floor, enabling the use of an escape route.

Proven and certified GEZE devices for gravitational smoke and heat removal (abbreviation NRWG) give facility designers great freedom in selecting dimensions, profile manufacturers and drives for smoke exhaust windows. The new NRWG construction product is based on the EN 12101 part 2 standard applicable throughout the European Economic Area. NRWG is a gravity smoke extraction device that exhausts smoke and hot gases outside the building in the event of a fire.
